Tucked away in a small vineyard under the Andes in the Uco Valley, Finca Blousson is a country bistro combining the best elements of the region with some unique details imported from the South of France.
Created by Argentine Victoria Jones and her partner, Frenchman Patrick Blousson, their farmhouse style restaurant has the requisite Argentine parilla, and their asadors certainly know how to use it well. But their chefs also know how to add a bit of French flair. For example, a favorite of winemaker Michel Rolland is the bife de chorizo with cassis sauce, a delicious adaption of the Argentine staple.
Finca Blousson, just a few kilometers from The Vines of Mendoza, is a perfect stop while exploring vineyards in the Uco Valley or as part of a trip to Manzano Histórico. Service is excellent and occasionally you'll see the two house dogs, Mork and Mindy, lying about in the mid-day sun. There's also a guest house available if The Vines Resort & Spa has no vacancies.
