Palmares Open Mall
Palmares Shopping Mall is located 15 minutes south of the city of Mendoza. With 10 movie theaters, 120 stores (primarily authentic Argentine brands), and many restaurants, most notably the quintessial Argentine steakhouse, Don Mario.

Alpataco specializes in wine, leather, creole silverware, wine accessories and mates and pots. Located on Sarmiento in central Mendoza, right off Plaza Independencia, you can also participate in wine tastings from time to time.
Ayllu
At this store, dedicated to folk are, you can view and purchase many types of folk art, including tapestries, ceramics, wood carvings, silverware and religious objects.
Brillat Savarin
The best thing about this bakery is that you cannot help but smile when you walk in. As soon as you open the door, sweet ladies at the counter are smiling at you waiting to offer you cakes, tarts or delicious breads.
Cueros Armando
Cueros Armandos is a women’s clothing store on Las Heras, the city of Mendoza, known for getting great bargains on purchasing leather jackets. Traditional leather is available as well as bright and bold colors.
Die Oma
When you pass by Die Oma, what will strike you first is their bakers very neatly kneading dough in their white uniforms at a window for display. Once you get a whiff, the smell of fresh bread beckons you inside.
Ferruccio Soppelsa
Ice cream here is an art form – a culinary experience in its own right. There are six locations of Ferruccio Soppelsa ice cream in the city and it's been here for 80 years. A word of caution: once you walk in, you won't be able to stop coming back.

At Benedetti, a Mendoza meat store, there are many options at a great price and with great variety. If you plan on cooking true Argentine asado during your stay, it is a great stop.
