With 180 degree views of the Andes, The Vines of Mendoza’s Uco Valley Tasting Room offers a unique opportunity to barrel taste, blend your own wines, and even see barrel fermentation in action. With 700 acres of planted vines and The Vines Resort & Spa set to open in December 2013, this is a great spot for learning about winemaking by some of Mendoza’s most awarded winemakers, including consulting winemaker Santiago Achaval and Pablo Martorell.

Wine and Cheese on the Patio

Put your legs up and relax at The Vines, looking at a wall of Andes Mountains, and enjoy a bottle of Recuerdo with a delectable cheese platter.

Varietal Tasting

Taste through five of The Vines wines and learn about different Argentine varietals and terroir.

Adventure in the Vineyards and Winery

Learn about what terroir really is with this guided tour that will show you the difference of soil composition, varietals and vine composition. Tour in the winery complete with full tasting.

Recuerdo Malbec 2011

A deep violet color, the wine opens with an arresting nose of ripe, black cherry, framed by lively acidity and subtle tannins.

Bright, fresh, and full of summer, Recuerdo Torrontés has a clean straw color with aromatic points of lemon spitz, citrus, and tart white flowers.

Atamisque

At the entrance to one of Mendoza’s most renowned wine regions, the Uco Valley, this winery features stunning stone crafted architecture designed by architects Bormida & Yanzon. This setting helps the winery blend into this wild, rustic setting.

Cuvelier de los Andes (Clos de los Siete)

The winery was designed with simplicity in mind and is made up of three units – one for tanks, one for barrels, and one for bottles. Orange hued, the building makes a striking impression against the mountain backdrop.

Diamandes

This impressive winery is one of the newest built in the Uco Valley and has architecture that will leave quite an impression. The winery is named after a cross between Diamond and Andes.
